Work at Studio Aimo is structured for clarity, flexibility, and depth. Whether you're starting from scratch or improving an existing setup, projects are scoped in phases so you always know what to expect and how we’ll work together.

  • Fill out a short form or send a quick message to share:

    • your current setup

    • what you're trying to build or improve

    • any timeline or platform preferences

    This helps determine if we’re a good fit before moving forward.

  • A 30-minute call to discuss:

    • your goals and constraints

    • timeline expectations

    • technical and team context

    • platform fit (Retool, Mendix, or other tools)

    Light prep is advised for better accuracy in scoping and proposal.

  • After the call, you’ll receive a clear proposal including:

    • fixed price quote

    • summary of deliverables

    • estimated timeline

    • any relevant extras or phased options

    For complex builds, a short discovery phase may be suggested before full scoping.

  • Once you payment is confirmed - either in full or as a 50% deposit - your build slot is locked in. You’ll receive:

    • an onboarding doc to collect logins, content, and assets

    • a checklist of what to prepare

    • timeline and kickoff confirmation

    Everything stays organised in a shared cloud drive.

  • We start with a focused kickoff session (30–90 minutes depending on package) to:

    • review data sources, workflows, and feature priorities

    • clarify roles and feedback cycles

    From there, the build runs in scoped weekly sprints with regular updates.

  • You’ll receive guided walkthroughs at key stages of the build to show progress and gather feedback. These may take the form of video recordings or short calls, depending on the project.

    Revision rounds are included depending on the build scope:

    • Core builds: 1 revision round

    • Full builds: 2 revision rounds

    • Custom builds: scoped as needed

    Revisions are for refining scoped features—not large restructures or new features. If anything falls outside scope, we’ll flag it and recommend next steps.

    Mid-project feedback is welcome—lighter comments are encouraged to help keep things aligned.

  • At the end of the build, you’ll receive:

    • full documentation

    • a recorded walkthrough or summary notes

    • 1 week of post-launch support (included with full and custom builds)

  • We’re committed to delivering dependable, high-quality work aligned with the agreed scope.

    The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If a project is cancelled early, any unused future phases will be refunded.

    If unexpected issues arise, we’ll communicate clearly and recommend practical next steps.

  • Packages are built around real client needs and don’t change in core structure or price. If you need extras, we can usually add them through custom scope or as maintenance.

  • Yes - we support multiple time zones and accept payment via Squarespace, Stripe, or direct transfer.

  • Yes - phased builds or related tools can be scoped as one engagement or broken into stages. We’ll quote based on total scope and timeline.

payment and pricing

  • You can either:

    • Pay in full - Save £150 when paying up front.

    • 50/50 split - Pay 50% to secure your build week(s), and the remaining 50% at the end of the project.

  • You're responsible for any platform fees (Retool, Mendix, Supabase, Stripe, etc.).

    We'll highlight these ahead of time and help you choose cost-effective options.

  • Occasionally - for returning clients, bundled work, or unexpected calendar gaps. We’ll let you know if a special rate applies.

  • Be available during the build window, provide timely feedback, complete the prep form, and share any required access or credentials upfront.

  • You’ll need:

    • Clarity on workflows or goals

    • Access to tools or databases

    • Branding assets if available

    • A main decision maker for reviews

    • API credentials if your tool connects to live data

  • Some things are excluded unless explicitly scoped:

    • Marketing websites

    • In-depth user research

    • QA/tester sessions beyond core testing

    • Platform subscription costs (e.g. Retool, Mendix, Supabase)

  • Yes - especially if it’s in Retool or Mendix. We’ll start with a short technical review and scope fixes or improvements case by case. Pricing and timeline are tailored to your setup.

support & maintenance

  • Yes - flexible maintenance is available in 1-week blocks. We’ll provide a quick estimate and scope before any work starts. Large updates may span multiple weeks. Faster delivery can sometimes be arranged.

    Note: maintenance slots are limited for quality and focus.
